Phil Reynolds

Found in a bin at the age of 24, Phil has been in bands for longer than a long time, most notably Colon – described by John Peel as “mighty” and Phil’s mum as “what’s that noise?”.  Along the way, he’s also featured in weirdo, Stoliday, Tate!, Suicide Highlife and a slew of others.  He also stood in on bass for Postcode on their 2012 European tour.  In 2011 he found himself with an album’s worth of songs recorded and nothing to do with them.  Marie suggested they set up Small Bear Records to release them and, 16 releases down the line (as at November 2013), here we are.  He makes a vegetarian chickpea curry which would make Ghandi weep for joy, but you should really ask him about his butter chicken…
