Edinburgh Popfest
May 19, 2014 - Highs and lows

Hi there.  Things have been quiet on this site lately, despite our major new release (which happened on May 4th), the very wonderful sophomore album from longtime FOTB Clara Barker which we should have been shouting about from the rooftops.  We’ve had our reasons (and trust us, they were good reasons – bad times at the Small Bear House, but we’re moving forward every day and picking up speed.  it’s not easy, but we’ll get there), but now we’re back – to show you we can really shake it down.

Or something.

Anyhoo, Clara’s album is called “Fine Art & The Breslins” and contains 11 tracks of skewed but joyous acoustical alchemical pop.  It also features some lively artwork by Oscar-nominated artist Juan Moore.  How cool is that?  You can get it – as per –  in our shop or in all the usual places.  be told, though, that if you buy it from the Bearstore on Bandcamp, you get four extra exclusive bonus tracks.  plus, most of the dosh goes to Clara, rather than Steve Jobs’ ghost.  Heh.  job’s a good’un…see what I did there?

So the Bear is BACK!  We’ve got lots coming up, and we promise you we won’t be away this long ever again.
